President Leath on Muslim Ban

Iowa State students received an email from President Leath Monday in regards to President Trump’s executive order on immigration. In the email, he expressed his understanding of student concerns and informed ISU students that the university is doing what it can to understand what the effects of the order will be. The International Students and Scholars Office will continue to provide information for international students, who are advised by President Leath to “consult immigration counsel and carefully evaluate these issues prior to traveling internationally at this time.” There are currently 115 students attending ISU who are from the seven countries that President Trump’s executive order has called for a ban on.
