After winning five straight games to end the regular season, the Iowa State Women’s Basketball team finished 9-9 in the Big 12, good enough for the five seed in the conference tournament. The Cyclones will square off with the fourth seeded and 24th nationally ranked Kansas State Wildcats Saturday March 4th, at 11 a.m. in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Iowa State is firmly on the bubble, however a win versus Kansas State should put them in the tournament. The Cyclones are going into the game with a 18-11 record, one of those 18 wins coming against the Wildcats at Hilton Coliseum earlier this year. The winner will most likely move on to play the 1 seed and 2nd nationally ranked Baylor Bears.
