ISU Interim President Approved

After a unanimous vote on Monday, the Iowa Board of Regents approved Iowa State President Steven Leath’s resignation as well as approved Benjamin Allen to serve as the interim President. Formerly acting as the president of University of Northern Iowa, Allen will begin immediately after Leath’s final day, which is set to be May 8th. Allen will serve as Iowa State’s senior policy adviser from April 17th until he takes over. He will receive a $525,000 salary for his time here.
